Content rules and reporting
These rules say what you may not publish on Sip&Score and how to report content that breaks the law or these rules. They are part of the Terms of use. The Croatian version is binding.
In short
- You are responsible for what you publish.
- Illegal content and content from the list below is not allowed.
- You can report a public quiz by email to hello@sipnscore.eu.
- We decide without undue delay and tell you our reasons.
What is not allowed
The rules apply to quizzes, questions, images, audio, videos, team names, answers, drawings and photos. Not allowed:
- content that is illegal under Croatian or European Union law,
- hate speech, incitement to violence or discrimination,
- threats, harassment and insults aimed at specific people,
- sexual content involving minors, in any form,
- pornography and explicit violence,
- other people's personal data without their consent (for example someone's photo, address or phone number in a question),
- someone else's copyrighted work (image, music, video, text) you have no right to use,
- pretending to be another person, venue or Sip&Score,
- spam and links to harmful sites,
- special categories of personal data about players (health, religion, political opinions and similar) in questions that ask players for them.
In a public community quiz the rules apply equally to the original and to copies.
How to report content
Send an email to hello@sipnscore.eu with the subject "Content report". The report must contain (Art. 16(2) of the Digital Services Act):
- an explanation of why you think the content is illegal or breaks these rules,
- the exact link to the quiz and, if you can, which question or image,
- your name and email address (not needed when you report child sexual abuse),
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.
You can send a report without an account.
Signed in, you can also report a quiz with the "Report" button in its community preview. It asks for the reason, the details (at least 10 characters) and the good-faith statement; your name and email come from your account. The reasons are:
- illegal content,
- copyright infringement,
- hate speech or harassment,
- something else.
What we do with a report
- We confirm receipt by email.
- A person reviews the content, not an automated system.
- We decide in a timely, diligent and objective way, as a rule within 7 days.
[PRAVNIK: is the period appropriate] - Possible decisions: the report is rejected; the public quiz is removed from the community (it stays in its author's library). For serious or repeated breaches the account is blocked until further notice.
- We tell the reporter the outcome.
- We give the author a statement of reasons (Art. 17 of the Digital Services Act): what we decided and for how long, the facts, whether a report came from someone or we found it ourselves, which rule or law the decision relies on, and how to appeal.
Report records are kept for 12 months after the decision; a report never decided, 12 months after it was made.
Appeal
If you disagree with a decision, as author or reporter, reply to the decision email within 6 months and explain why. Where possible a different person reviews the decision. [PRAVNIK: the internal complaint system (Art. 20) does not bind micro and small enterprises (Art. 19); we offer it voluntarily, confirm the 6 months]
You can always go to court.
